Welcome to Play Music for Life,

the home of musical adventures for musicians of all ages and abilities!

We are interested in all kinds of music, 

and we are especially interested in the kinds that we haven't invented yet!

Learn all about how the musicians who came before us thought, played, and created their music, 

and then use what you learn to make your own.

You will learn about music theory, improvisation, and various kinds of notations. 

You will learn how to make music comfortably and joyfully, 

while always striving to improve your capabilities and your musical ideas.

There are all kinds of instruments in the studio, 

so you can try them out and transfer your musical knowledge from one instrument to another.

 Or specialize in the one you love.

We work on solo music, refining your reading, technical, and interpretive skills. 

You get to pick the music you play, so it's always interesting and usually pretty challenging.

We also work on how to play well with others, especially in a jamming situation. 

We use color-coded visual guides to help you learn these skills quickly and easily.
